Katie began her career in the event industry working as a Registration Coordinator for a boutique event planning company specializing in high-end meetings and incentives. An expert in registration and website development, Katie has learned to see the whole picture of an event, beginning with the first phase of the event lifecycle: registration.

Planning and managing events around the world, Katie understands that every client has a unique vision for their event. Her extensive experience planning corporate sales meetings, customer retreats, sales incentive trips, and conferences/trade shows for high-level Government agencies combined with her passion for creating one-of-a-kind events allows for a comprehensive understanding of the requirements needed for a successful event.

Katie has a B.A. from James Madison University. She is an avid runner and has finished the Marine Corps, Philadelphia, and Chicago Marathon. She is recently married and lives with her husband Patrick in Annapolis where they enjoy cooking, wine tasting, and boating on the Severn River.

Theresa has a passion for travelling the world. Her experience as an Event Manager paired with her desire to explore new places, meet new people, and continue to grow industry relationships, makes her a paramount leader at GEM.

Having started her career as a Registration Specialist/Event Website Developer, Theresa has since planned large-scale conferences throughout the U.S., International Sales-Incentive Trips (her favorite destinations include Italy and Alaska), Government Conferences and Tradeshows for high-level agencies, and Pharmaceutical Meetings all over the country.

Theresa has a B.A. from Penn State University (Go Nittany Lions!) and was co-captain of her lacrosse team. When she is not planning events, she is busy coaching a high school lacrosse team in the Annapolis area. In her spare time, she enjoys playing lacrosse, soccer, football, and golf.

Stephanie is a six-year US Air Force veteran who began her career in the event management industry planning large-scale conferences and tradeshows for high-level government agencies.  A Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP), Stephanie has a creative eye and a strong attention to detail. She has an extensive background in all phases of the meeting planning process including sourcing and site selection, budgeting & procurement, and program developing & operation.

Before her debut in the event planning industry, Stephanie served as a Persian-Farsi language analyst at Fort Meade, MD. During her military service she translated vital intelligence that protected thousands of service men and women across the globe. Additionally, Stephanie was selected to be her squadron’s primary deployment manager and ensured that each member in her 420-person unit was prepared to deploy on a day’s notice.

Stephanie graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA with a B.S. in Business and Public Administration.  Stephanie is originally from Chesapeake, VA and currently resides in Crownsville, MD with her husband and two children, Max and Violet.  She spends the majority of her free time trying to keep up with her two toddlers.
